Welcome To a New Level of

Savannah Luxury
& Hospitality

The Douglas is a twenty-two-room luxury boutique hotel with no two rooms alike, a private bar that feels more like a living room, and mornings that begin with a complimentary gourmet breakfast, prepared by our chef and served à la carte. The Douglas isn’t about getting away. It’s about arriving fully, to stillness, to beauty, to a slower kind of Savannah, where time doesn’t rush, and conversation lingers. In the heart of the Historic District, you will find The Douglas, rooted in the past, made for now. The Douglas welcomes guests 21 years of age and older.

Complimentary gourmet breakfast is one of the signature experiences at The Douglas. Included with every stay, from 7 am to 11 am each morning, it features thoughtfully prepared dishes, fresh seasonal ingredients, and handcrafted coffee and tea beverages that make breakfast worth lingering over.

Our chef will make sure your most important meal of the day is healthy and delicious.

Fuel your day with vibrantly colorful dishes that are as beautiful as they are satisfying.

Coffee break? It's on us. Enjoy complimentary handcrafted coffee and tea beverages all day long.

Nothing says "good morning" quite like fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Proof that the simplest dishes are often the most memorable.

Prefer matcha? We've got that covered, too—with complimentary specialty tea beverages available all day.

Lox, toast, and a morning well spent.

Shrimp & grits. Because breakfast can have a Southern accent.

A beautiful setting for a great breakfast.

A breakfast spot with Savannah views and sunny-side-up energy.

A cozy corner for coffee, breakfast, and taking your time.

The Bar

The best evenings are never rushed. They unfold in soft light, over a well-made cocktail, to the soundtrack of quiet conversation and the comforting clink of crystal. Time seems to lose its urgency here, inviting you to linger in the moment and savor the kind of stillness that's increasingly hard to find.

Reserved exclusively for guests of The Douglas, The Bar is an intimate retreat where every detail is designed to slow the pace. Open daily from 2 pm to 10 pm, with complimentary evening canapés served from 4 pm to 7 pm, it offers a thoughtful selection of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits in an atmosphere that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Whether you're toasting the day's adventures or easing into the night ahead, this hidden hideaway is where memorable evenings quietly take shape.

The Parlor

The moments that linger longest often live in the spaces between your room and the city. At The Douglas, those quiet pauses are meant to be savored. Whether it’s a slow hour with a good book, a second cup of coffee that feels like a small luxury, or a late-night cocktail with no hurry to go anywhere, our shared spaces welcome you to stay a little longer, to breathe, to be present.

The Parlor is the soul of the hotel, a place to truly settle in, not just pass through. Curl up in a velvet chair, catch up on work if you must, or simply watch the afternoon stretch into evening with a glass in hand. It feels like coming home, but with every thoughtful detail in place.

Explore Savannah

When you stay at The Douglas, in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District, a vehicle is unnecessary. Walk or bike from the hotel to beautifully preserved 18th and 19th century homes and gardens, charming public squares, restaurants, shops, and more.

From the front door of The Douglas, Bull Street is only steps away for the beautiful half-mile walk to Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest park, known for its 1858 cast-iron fountain and massive Live Oak trees draped in Spanish moss. If you walk in the opposite direction up Bull Street, you pass Broughton Street, Savannah’s main shopping corridor. Five minutes farther up Bull Street takes you to the restaurants and bars on Bay Street and River Street, overlooking the Savannah River.
