Room Twenty-Two is located in The Douglas’s Annex, just next door to the main house. Set above Lester’s, it carries a slightly different rhythm. Close, but distinctly its own. With no shared spaces in the building, the experience leans quieter, more private.

Room Twenty-Two sits at the highest point of the building, occupying the attic level and offering a perspective unlike any other at The Douglas. Smaller in footprint but rich in character, it feels tucked away from the rhythm below.

Sloped ceilings clad in bead board create a sense of enclosure that is intimate rather than confined. The architecture becomes part of the experience, with built-in cabinetry and an integrated wet bar thoughtfully arranged beneath the roofline. Every inch feels considered.

Because the building rises above the surrounding trees, the room carries a feeling of being perched in its own canopy. Light filters in differently here. Softer. More directional. More personal.

The palette leans warm and layered, with patterned upholstery and textured finishes that reinforce the sense of retreat. It feels less like a hotel room and more like a private aerie at the top of the house.
